Village Board Proceedings of December 1, 2010

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Plain met after the Budget Public Hearing at the Municipal Building on December 1, 2010. 

Roll Call: Raymond Ellenbolt, President; Cole Brunson; Robert Jewell; Kevin Kraemer; Duane Meise; Robert Neuheisel; and, John Schluter, Trustees.

Notice of this meeting, along with the agenda, was posted at the following locations

in the Village of Plain: Municipal Building; Plain Post Office; and, The Peoples Community Bank. 

The meeting was called to order by President Ellenbolt at 7:07 p.m.

Schluter motioned to approve the Village 2010 tax levy of $488,379.00.  Kraemer seconded. Motion carried.

Kraemer next motioned to set the mill rate for the Village 2010 Real Estate and Personal Property taxes at $6.70015 per thousand dollars of valuation.  Jewell seconded. Motion carried.

Schluter motioned to adopt the Debt Service Budget of $48,372.08 as presented. 

Neuheisel seconded. Motion carried.

Schluter motioned to adopt the T.I.F. District Fund Budget of $100,512.10 as presented.

Neuheisel seconded. Motion carried.

Kraemer motioned to adopt the Capital Improvements Fund Budget of $11,870.00 as presented.

Meise seconded. Motion carried.

Schluter then motioned to set the effective date for 2010 wages for Village employees as January 3, 2011.  Kraemer seconded. Motion carried.

Kraemer motioned to adjourn at 7:11 p.m.  Meise seconded. Motion carried.
