Review and approval of Minutes of August 8, 2007 Regular Board Meeting.

 

Comments from members of the public who have not been scheduled to address the Board.

 

Discussion and action on the recommendation of the Planning and Development Commission concerning the variance request of  Kathy Emshoff for the purpose of construction of a deck at 1015 St. Luke’s Avenue.

 

Discussion and action on the recommendation of the Planning and Development Commission concerning the re-zoning of Lot 2 of Block 4 of The Original Town of Plain owned by Sasha Parkevich.

 

Linda Donnelly would like to address the board regarding a natural step on community sustainability.

 

Fire Chief Loren Thering and Steve Ruhland would like to discuss the Village’s open fire burning ordinance.

 

Erik Henningsgard of General Engineering will be present for discussion and action on the following: Utility Easements with Kraemer Brothers, Edward Kraemer & Sons, and Victor & Jacquell Kraemer; and, a pay application with change orders from A1 Excavating; and, a Meise Construction proposal for filling around the lift station; and, an engineering bill from General Engineering.

Second reading and action of Ordinance 156-07, amending Section 1 of Chapter 14 “One and Two Family Residential Dwellings” to clarify appropriate construction practices to create a drive or walkway through existing curb and gutter.

 

Review and adoption of Resolution 2007-10, a final resolution to exercise special assessment powers under Wisconsin Statute 66.073 for the removal and replacement of curb and gutter and installation of initial sidewalk on Willow Street and Park Avenue.

 

Discussion and action on Resolution 2007-11, requesting exemption from the Sauk County library tax levy.

 

Review and act on renewal of auditing services from Johnson Block and Company, Inc. for the Village’s 2007 financial records.
