Approval of Minutes for the March14, 2007 Regular Board meeting and April 4, 2007 Public Hearing.

 

Comments from members of the public who have not been scheduled to address the Board.

 

Ehlers & Associates would like to address the board regarding financing of TIF #2.

 

Discussion and action regarding water/sewer extension to the Valley Village, LLC proposed 4-unit condo on the west end of American Legion Drive.

 

Reports from Public Works and Police Departments.

 

Committee Reports

 

Second reading and adoption of Ordinance 155-07, amending Section 2 of Chapter 20 “Floodplain and Shoreland-Wetland Zoning” to adopt the Village of Plain, Industrial Park 100 Year-Floodway Analysis Report and the corresponding Hydraulic Analysis zoning map.

 

Discussion regarding remodel building permit requirements.

 

Hiring of lifeguards for the 2007 swim pool season.

 

Hiring of Recreation Program Director for the 2007 summer season.

 

Discussion and action regarding waiving the fee for pavilion use for “Art in the Park,” a free summer art program for kids. 

 

Discussion and action on approval of a temporary picnic license, extended hours permit and temporary operator licenses for the St. Luke’s Parish Festival.

 

Review and approval of operator’s license for Michelle L. Edwards and Kristin M. Lewis for the period ending June 30, 2007.

 

Discussion and confirmation of previously set date and time of the Board of Review for Wednesday, May 16, 2007 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

 

Discussion and action on the following appointments:           

            Chief of Police for a two-year term, from May 1, 2007 through April 30, 2009; and,

            Clerk/Treasurer for a two-year term, from May 1, 2007 through April 30, 2009.
